Dave Hamilton, President and Founder of Delivery Express, started in the delivery business at a young age. He had a delivery paper route at age 12. At 13 was helping the milkman deliver milk.
At 18 he got his first courier job for a real estate title company. A couple years later, while in college, he met an overloaded independent contractor who had his own delivery business; whom he began working for.
In 1996 the government deregulated the trucking industry, opening the door to a whole new world for the courier industry. Delivery Express was born.
The company has grown steadily and impressively from the small one room office and three drivers it had in the beginning to the 20 employee, 100 independent contractors and more than 600 clients it services today from its office in Tukwila.
With anywhere from six hundred to a thousand deliveries a day, Delivery Express is serving a variety of industries with same day delivery and logistical solutions. We provide special handling of medical specimens to time-critical delivery of bank deposits, escrow checks and legal documents.
