What a great experience! I went in for a haircut on Monday with no appointment, and Amanda English was amazing! One of the best haircuts I have ever had. She listened to my request, and understood how to handle my unruly hair. I wish I lived in Boston so I could see her for every haircut!

G2O offers great service at reasonable prices. The staff are always kind and willing to help, the services themselves are always professionally done and the facilities are modern and up to date. I would highly recommend it for both men and women hoping to get a trim or spend a day at the spa!

I have gone to G20 for years and love it. I have had many different service providers because I that last-minute kind of client. I have had massages, manicures, hairstyling, cut and coloring, eyelash tinting and eyebrows done there. All of the service providers are top notch especially Amanda who does my hair and Steven a massage therapist. The ambience is great, too. Highly recommend!

I did an Experience Room for a friend's birthday. What a fun thing to do! There were 8 of us in a cavernous room. We were given masks to apply to skin in different areas of our body. We were well taken care of before and after the experience. The locker room is comfortable and well-appointed. I was impressed with the price which was about $72 including gratuity. I can't believe this place has been around for about 10 years and I had never been yet! Would definitely go back.

I always absolutely have the best experience at G2O and have been going for about 8 years! I love Dailin, my stylist and the service is always top notch! One strange thing that happened this time prior to my appointment is that I got a personal text from a girl who worked at the front desk asking to confirm my appointment for a hair color (I had a haircut the next day) and she asked if I wanted a hair cut as well (she could have seen I booked a hair cut) also asked me to move times. When I said I couldn’t meet earlier, the response was “it’s okay” I found the response off putting as if I was being an inconvenience when I booked the session a month ago and simply count meet earlier. Working in the customer service industry myself, the response should have been something like “no problem! See you at 1pm! Have a great day” I just found the whole text exchange unprofessional and a little off putting. And this was the first time this ever happened. Every other experience at G20 has been phenomenal!! I more wanted to let you know this happened. Thanks!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Camille and the staff at G20 Spa and Salon. Everyone is friendly and the service is impeccable. From the greeting to the final process of a wonderful hair experience. G20 is my only go to for hair care in Boston. Looking forward to experiencing their other services as well.

This is my third salt cave experience and I had the entire room to myself. There is an option of wearing your clothes rather than using a robe. The zero gravity chair, dimmed lights and ambient music makes a 45 minute relaxing experience. The light come up when the session is over. The sauna is very good and again I was the only patron. The steam room in the ladies locker room didn't seem hot enough to me. The shower doesn't have a shelf to put your own bath products. There is G2O shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the shower. I would prefer a glass shower door rather than a curtain. I was surprised by the limited water station. I would expected water in the locker room as well. The staff are very polite and cheery.

It has been over a year since my last visit to G20 Spa, but with the new space, I'm certain any of their "flaws" were taken care of. The professionalism and friendliness towards clients is felt from the moment you walk in as you are greeted with a smile from the moment you approach the desk to introduce yourself. Yes, I consider it expensive, but you get what you pay for and I am paying $45 for a blow out with no amenities whatsoever.I see Gareth and he's simply amazing! Yes, we chat, he thoroughly explains everything, not only will he constantly check in with you about the comfort of any product in your hair but if you want any beverages or anything else, etc. I've goes above and beyond. Justifying the costs is related to certain expectations which include the location, premium services and amenities, but most importantly, the constant smile and assurance & reassurance of one's needs. With parking not being a concern or stress at the new location, a visit to G20 Spa and Salon is exactly what I need after a week of reading and editing English papers. I highly recommend Gareth. His constant strive to learn, passion to find perfection and figure out what could have been done "better" and demeanor are traits people lack.

I recently had my hair colored with Dailin, and not only was the outcome PERFECT, but the entire experience was relaxing, luxurious, and fantastic! I can’t believe how much a hair coloring appointment could feel like a spa day, but g2o has managed to make it happen! I CAN’T WAIT to go back, and I 100% recommend you pamper yourself and go!

Fantastic service and amenities, the new facility is top notch and way more spacious than the old one. Peggy and Carla do an amazing job for couples massages, and the rest of the staff is very friendly!

My experience at G2O was amazing and always is! I have been going to see Dailin for years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my curly hair! She is a master of her craft and would highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you have curly hair!

G2O, was amazing. My friend came from Spain and I met her in Boston to enjoy a girls weekend. I love spa treatments and I try to have massages and facials often, so I go to different spas every time I can, looking for the best place that offers good amenities and good service.This spa was absolutely incredible. We both did the Razul therapy in the experience room and after that my friend got a signature facial with Tricia, and I had a massage with Lucy.Both therapists are well trained and knowledgeable, they really like their jobs and for us as clients their dedication and effort to satisfy our needs, made the trick and gave us exactly what we were looking for, a day of relaxation, pampering and well being.We will definitely be coming back. Thanks to all the staff and the new clean facilities this place is highly recommended!!

I left there with a bunch of grease in my hair, on my face and with no exfoliation, cleansing or relaxing message. All the woman did was during the ENTIRE time try to sell me things. When she figured I wasn't buying, she was rude and just left abruptly at the end of my greasing session. It cost $180 to go home and take a shower. A huge mistake and waste of money. P.S. I was expecting to look refreshed and yet I looked exhausted and stressed. The salon might appear to be fancy, but it's all show and a total farce. Find a decent place and look elsewhere. What a waste of money and time. YUK! G20 makes Boston look like peanuts. Being a true Brahman Bostonian it is embarrassing. G20 - You are not fooling anyone, but fools.

The entire experience was wonderful! The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean and welcoming, and the massage given to me by Bill was incredible. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis!

Went here with my husband for my birthday! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Beautiful facility with lots of amenities included with your service! I love a spa that can provide "extras" like a sauna and steam room to use along with a massage. We also had the scalp and face add-on. Full relaxation!

What a terrible choice. The new location must be saving them money. The locker room had two showers and have remained tiny. No rooftop. No Jacuzzi. For giving those things up you would think the service would be amazing...nope.Everyone also seemed to have a really bad attitude. I mean to the point I had to laughThe only two people that seemed to like what they did was Jasmine and the woman who was running the salt room. I could go on and on but I just wont go back. Doesnt seem like they really care anyways.30Save you 300 and go to a regular gym instead and use the sauna and steam room.

My rating is solely based on my recent visit. However, I want to reiterate that my massage service with Bill was great as usual so he deserves a 5 star for his consistent professionalism. So why a 2 star rating? If it wasn't for the massage, I would have given a 1 star. Well, since the new location, I was stuck in the steam room due to a thick floor rug wich wedged itself so I could not push it out all the way. There was no emergency call or shut off button from the inside like most public places that have wet saunas. What made my panic worse was there was no locker attendant and clients around. I only had two options... Scream or try to squeeze out. I chose the latter. I managed... It was frightening. I could barely breathe with the ongoing steam. In retrospect, this could have been fatal especially if this happened to an elderly person.I did let the manager know and she notified the owner. I received an apologetic voicemail message and they are working on replacing the rug she said. However, I am waiting to hear back from the manager to restore my faith in the G2O spa experience. Services are one thing but safety and client care are a must for an ultimate spa experience.As a loyal client since the original Newbury location when it was known as Giuliani's (even before Emerge) the new location is nice and bigger but I do miss the jacuzzi tub, roof deck, and brine room as amenities.Maybe my next review would be better but like I said, it remains to be seen by the owner and manager. It would be a shame to give my business elsewhere after all these years since there are other spas in back bay.

My sister took me here today for my birthday. I traveled from out of town and we planned this date many months ago. When we arrived we were told that one of estheticians called in sick for the day and we would not be able to do what we booked. This was a disappointment because as I said, we planned the day for many weeks and traveled to be here. This is also the type of thing that would really irritate my sister and I - it is not what you expect from a high end spa.The women at the spa were so genuinely apologetic and went above and beyond to accommodate this inconvenience. They offered to adjust the appointments and to compensate us both in a monetary fashion and also with other services that we did not originally plan. They were kind about it, sincere, professional and courteous. I was really blown away at how everyone at the spa was willing to turn this disappointing experience into a great day for us. We loved all of our treatments. The facial was amazing. We enjoyed time in the salt cave. We also were each able to try out the saltwater floating pods. We enjoyed the beverages and snacks and spent time reading in the relaxation room. It was all absolutely wonderful.When we left for the day the manager had little gift bags put together for us to further apologize for the unexpected change in plans. All of the staff was just completely committed to customer service and to making sure that we walked out of there happy. You guys did a great job! Mission accomplished. We can not wait to come back and spend more time at your location. We know that we will get A+ treatments and service. Thank you all for such a wonderful day. Keep up the good work!

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this salon; and especially Darren Le. I've tried several salons and thought my cuts and color were "nice" but I still felt dull a short time later. The experience at G20 was exceptional from the moment I booked. The convenient, relatively inexpensive valet parking across the street at the Lenox was a great way to start, the reception was friendly and they provided a tour of their the salon, spa and amenities. My friend and I enjoyed coffee in front of the fire in the lounge while we waited. Darren cut and colored my hair. The cut was a drastic departure from what I had and he nailed it; and the color is EXACTLY what I wanted. In addition, he was mindful of my trying to maintain a painless transition between color touchups by choosing something that worked with my natural color. Darren is the difference between a technical cutter and a skilled artistic stylist. I'll not use anyone else. Needless to say, it was a great experience.

Been here multiple times, but I always book last minute, so I get different people. Everyone has always been amazing. I went there today, and got Tiffany for haircut. I had about 8 inches cut off my hair today. Very emotional. Tiffany was amazing and inspired confidence in everything. The most exceptional part, was that she never let me see all of that hair on the floor.

Used to be absolutely amazing but new location is huge mistake. My husband and I have been coming for couples massages at the Newbury location for close to two years and have been treated to wonderful services and complimentary amenities such as the hot tub and brine room. This has all gone out the window at the new location and its clear that the customer no longer matters only the $$$$. You can tell the staff is not pleased either. Previously bubbly and wonderful you can tell they no longer enjoy their work. G20 please treat your staff and your customers better and bring back the amenities that once made your location so great and one I highly recommended to others. We will not be coming back.

I have used G20 in the past for facial and massages (even had my mini bridal shower here). Their services are great! Everyone is really amazing! I recently got my hair color done here and loved Linda. She was lovely and did a great job. I am excited about their new location. The Newbury Street one was a little tight.

I love coming to G2O!! Everyone here is amazing, from the front desk to the specialists. I see Tiffany for my hair care and she nails it every time!! Beautiful environment full of beautiful people. Visit this salon/spa for all of your needs.. you won't find one better in Boston!

We have been going to G2O for 5 or 6 years and every experience has been wonderful. The couples massage is a great way to relax and unwind and the staff at G2O is always first rate. We highly recommend

We had such a good time at G2O! Everybody was very nice, the whole experience was amazing! We got the Bali experience treatment and it was just amazing! Our friend that had a birthday got a massage which she loved and was exactly what she needed! Meghan was very helpful and welcoming ! We can’t wait for the summer so we can come and enjoy the outside as well ! Thank you for the great experience!

I got a massage from Jeff, and had several times before. Jeff is the best in the business and I do not want to go to anyone else. Jeff understands and adjusts for different body types, prior physical injuries and all aches and pains, and is careful to not cause any undue pain or stress, He is able to help work out knots and kinks very easily. He is timely, professional, respectful, considerate, and has a great memory. I had not been there in over a year, maybe longer, and he remembered me. The Brine Inhalation room is also very tranquil and I easily fell asleep in there looking at the waterfall, pretty soothing colors, and listening to the sounds of water. All the staff are friendly and helpful too. Thank you, I will definitely be back again sometime.

I am appalled at the treatment I received at such a nice facility! I love the actual interior of the salon, but I tried to schedule hair appointments several times before my wedding, making it known that I needed coloring and extensions prior to my special day. The first appointment was scheduled 2 months in advance for Balayage in May. The woman who was dying my hair cancelled my appointment just days before. I had to reschedule for 2 weeks later since she was not available. We had a consultation about extensions that would be applied a week before my wedding in August. I scheduled that appointment, but she made no arrangements to order the extensions.(Not to mention, she took 6 hours to dye my hair!!)I was nervous about the woman canceling on me days before my wedding, so I did my research and found another person to do the extensions at a different salon. When I called G2O to cancel my appointment, it had ALREADY BEEN TAKEN OFF THE BOOKS!!! I would have driven 1.5 hours to Boston days before my wedding to find out that this woman had cancelled my appointment and never ordered the hair. This is so unprofessional, and I would have been devastated before my wedding. I'm never going back here again.

I really love this spa. The amenities and variety of treatments they offer are a huge selling point! Their massage (and general) staff are skilled, pleasant and helpful. I've been to a few spas in the Boston area but this is my #1.

I love G20 Spa and Salon. I've been a regular customer for many years, and have never had a bad experience. My hairstylist is dependably great, and the support staff is top notch. Great work, everybody!

I had heard good things about g2o so my husband bought me a massage for my birthday with a facial add-on and printed out the confirmation sheet for me to bring in. The confirmation sheet, along with the confirmation text and confirmation email he got all said that my appointment was for 1:15pm. We got a call while we driving into the city at 12:20 saying my appointment was at noon. When I finally got into the city I showed the manager all of the confirmations they had sent him since he was the buyer---the email, text and paper which all said 1:15. The manager said it was his responsibility to remember what time he booked the appointment for, regardless that they sent us a confirmation for the wrong time. She said I could stay and have a shorter massage since "I was late" or reschedule but there would be a 50% charge for what should've been done today. They were not even willing to waive the missed appointment fee if I were to reschedule, even though I was there in person, with multiple pieces of evidence proving they had confirmed us for the incorrect time. I left without getting the service he booked for, and without rescheduling. In my opinion, a place that has that poor of customer service does not deserve a dime, let alone any of my time.

Before G2O, I was not a regular spa goer. Now that I've found G2O, I can't help myself. I've used a variety of their services: massages, spray tans, and the salon, and I'm looking forward to trying the rest. The atmosphere and the amenities are simply second to none. The customer service is amazing--the concierges always remember me and my sister (even when she isn't with me). I love being able to use the brine room, rooftop deck, hot tub, and fireplace lounge when I arrive early (and when I buy friends/family gift cards, they are always EXTREMELY impressed). Tiffany Blair is my go-to stylist at the salon. She is a truly talented colorist and a delightful person, all around. I'm so grateful to have found her after bouncing around several Boston salons for year G2O Spa and Salon.
