I love this bar.Draft list is solid, could use some more IPAs, but they have a huge selection of drafts and cans. Never had a cocktail, but it's a thing people do, so yeah go for it I guess. But the drinks are not the reason to come here. It's pinball. They have all the latest tables, and usually the exclusive fancy versions of them too. They also have tons (possibly literally) of classic machines too.Pinball is not free here. Don't cry, get your change out. Most games are 75c to 100c depending, but they're is a reason. They have the best, most, and in best condition machines. I'm not hating on the token place or the free pinball bars, but those are bars first pinball second. This place caters to true pinheads. They also have a bunch of other coo games like the Japanese table flip game, giant Jurassic Park on rails shooting game, and some sit down fighter cabinets. Also, KILLER QUEEN! If you don't know, then Google it on your way over and bring your friends for some of the best 5v5 platforming battle games ever. They have pinball and killer queen leagues, open to all skills.
A nice place, but got kicked out for disputing $14. Not an incredibly disturbing charge but immediately got called drunk for bringing it up. I wasn't even trying to order more drinks, just didn't want to be charged for what I didn't order. I poured myself a glass of water because it is offered at the end of the bar and they pulled it from me right before I left. As a non-white patron I wasn't sure how to behave at that point. Would love to know how others are treated if they have a similar issue.
So I have a new favorite are arcade game, killer queen. You WILL spend all your money on this machine so be prepared. A fast paced highly competitive team based game, you will get hours of excitement and fun from this game. Otherwise the environment of the bar is very welcoming the staff is kind. They also decorate for the seasons so that's nice as well.
Who doesn't want to have drinks while playing arcade games? Great concept, some awesome retro games, and large beer list. Bartenders can be a bit inattentive at times so it can take a while for a drink even if there aren't that many people there but overall great place.
If you’re a fan of an old school arcade then this is your place. They have a decent bar with a few taps and a cool bartender. The classic pinball machines are awesome. You can usually play for as little a fifty cents. There’s not much else going on here. So it’s a good diversion if your in the neighborhood.
The variety of arcade games was on point. They had a good pinball selection as well as some old games I had never seen before.I'm going to assume the funky smell permeating the entire back room was someone who may have had too much to drink. Overall, definitely worth the visit.
Such a fun night out! They have a ton of arcade games, good drinks and overall a wonderful place. You can bring in your own food and drink too which is a great option. Hopefully one day they can add a pop a shot and more Mario kart games! Looking forward to visiting again soon
This is the best and most varied of the arcade bars in the city. Tons of new and vintage pinball along with new favorites like Killer Queen, and an awesome table flipping game! Very good beer selection and a full bar. You play using quarters and they have machine for you to change dollars. They even have leagues you can sign up for!
This place is exactly where you want to be. Amazing collection of vintage, indie, and sorry rare one off video games. Also their pinball collection is top notch, one of the few places to play limited edition of all the best machines.Staff are really nice, embrace the geek culture of the place, and know their beers/drinks.The crowd is definitely hip, but not in a bad way. There are definitely people there who take their pinball very seriously, but they are tempered by a lot of people who just want to have a few drinks and play some games.
This was a great place with a great atmosphere. You kinda feel like you belong. Its casual and comfortable. I go with a pocket full of change so i can play arcade games. One can have a fun time and not "break the bank". Its a bar, so what more can i say. THEY SERVE ALCOHOL. AND you can bring in your OWN food. You can customize your experience there. Its a must try, if you ask me. So... try it. You'll love it. I know you'll go again and again.
Fun place, with a wide array of games (focus is on games). Not to big or a bar selection. Definitely had some nastalgic moments. If you are looking to play games from childhood and have an adult beverage... Than this is a good place. If you want an expansive bar menu with games and a bit more of a hyped vibe.... I would check out the Beer arcade.
It's a great arcade bar. They upped their game in 2017 by getting some new, great games. This bar is one of the few locations in Chicago to have a Killer Queen machine. Good luck getting to play it on the weekends because this place gets pretty busy.
The Logan Arcade has reasonably priced drinks and a wide array of arcade games. From Twilight Zone to Game of Thrones the pinball machines run the gamut of contemporary and classic properties. A word of warning, the machines have prices on them but the machines don't always follow them. There's also a selection of classic arcade games from PacMan to Street Fighter to modern offerings like the Walking Dead. Tons of fun. Just remember to bring a stack of quarters or dollar bills. The change machines can accept bills up to $20.
Music was lame, but I wasn't there to dance anyway. There's some cool games but they cost money to play and most of the good machines are being used at any given time. Pretty standard for an arcade though. Drinks aren't overpriced.
Excellent place for arcade and beer lovers! Wide selection of beer and liqour. The place hits you with its charm before even entering. It is full with probably many of your famous arcade games! Our favorite was the Pacman game which is played on a table like unit with up to four people. Also try Jurassic Park which is very dynamic, full of action and has cool gun feedback.Loved this place!
Our favorite place to go for a drink and some fun old school times! Takes quarters so come prepared with cash. The staff is nice and the place is clean. We went this year for Halloween and it was a great low key place to be able to dress up and be social without constantly being bumped into like at a club or paying ridiculous cover charges.
Love this barcade! The beer selection is great and the game selection is even better. Also, this location seems to attract an older crowd which is refreshing if you normally frequent competitors in Wicker Park.
Fun bar with Darius Burst and Killer Queen- my two faves! They also have that Japanese table flip game which is super fun. Bartenders were attentive and friendly. They seemed to be on top of maintenance on the machines even though they had a few that were out of service when I was there
Unlike the nearby Emporium, Logan Arcade welcomes all crowds. Bring some quarters/cash and get to it. They always have some exotic games from other countries and tons of beer specials. But you can always fall back on the classics like Burger Time too!
