Small place has around 20 seats. We got there around 730 on a cold Tuesday night and the place was almost full, be prepared for a little wait on busier times. We got hainannese chicken which was good, sizzling tufu was also good with decent amount of shrimp and grounded meat. Also got some been satay, the beef was ok but the sauce made it really good.
Try to go there during lunch one day, was told that restaurant will be closed for 1 hour due to health inspection. " why would any restaurant close for heath inspection unless they have something to hide". Second visit- food was very salty, and made my mouth very dry "believe that there is alot of MSG". over all the decor is poor and food Mediocre. P.S Restaurant only takes cash
My family and I have been customers for many years. The food is flavorful and authentically Southeast Asian--that's what keeps us coming back. Prices have increased over the years (of course), but most of the food we get are still in the single digit range. The place is small, but the food is worth it. Paid street parking/some free parking in neighboring residential areas (but this is a very busy area).
A bit of a whole in the wall but the flavors and good smells here fills the room. It is a cash only place but pretty much everything on the menu is affordable. Great place to grab a quick bite. Services prompt and portions are what you expect for a place like this (just right).
Awesome food at a reasonable price. Their Singaporean dishes taste as if you were sitting in an outdoor restaurant in Singapore (I was in Singapore less than a year ago). Can't go wrong with this place. One more thing. It's BYO as well.
If you decide to eat at the restaurant, it's best to go a little earlier than the typical lunch hours, as it gets pretty crowded due to limited space. I usually order takeout because I live nearby, but regardless, the food is just delicious. A dish I highly recommend is the Hong Kong Style Chow Mein, along with many of their vegetable dishes to go with it. This restaurant has always lived up to its name.
The Taste is Great - so great! I'm a near lifelong vegetarian and the helpful waiter made some modifications so that I could have the okra/lady fingers and popiah. We also had fried Tofu with amazing peanut sauce. It was all extremely flavorful, clearly the chef is an expert at layering flavors. Loved it. Will go back asap.
